international collaboration

     school of pharmacy cooperates closely with universities, institutes and companies from all over the world. ever since the very beginning of its foundation, the school of pharmacy has built the bridge of cooperation with leslie dan faculty of pharmacy, university of toronto; institute of pharmacy and food chemistry, university of wurzburg; and school of pharmacy, university of ulster. we have established a 3 1 international student exchange program with cranfield university and university of ulster, respectively. furthermore, a lot of well-known scholars have been invited to deliver lectures, including those from university of new mexico, queen's university at belfast, kyoto university and myongji university. in addition, school of pharmacy has hosted many international symposiums. besides, the innovation and talent introduction base, also known as the project 111, funded by the ministry of education and the state administration of foreign experts affairs since november 2006, was founded to promote the academic collaboration between scientists from china and abroad, and to offer a platform for high-level international cooperation and academic communication.

highlights and facts:
  • in past three years, over 50 foreign scholars and experts have visited our school to give research lectures, teach advanced courses, or pursuit further collaborations.
  • international collaborations: the school has signed collaboration with 3 universities in 3 countries. we also have student exchange programs with 3 universities overseas both for undergraduates and graduate students.
  • the school has hosted or cohosted 7 international conferences and symposiums ever since its establishment in 2004.
  • the school was granted a “111 project” in later 2006 for high-level scientific researches via international collaboration with about ¥9 million funding for 5 years and got renewed for another 5 years.
